Janet & Chris’ Wedding

We made our debut last night in the Lake House Country Hotel in Portnoo, which is on the beautiful Donegal coast. It was Janet and Chris’ wedding, so thanks to both of them for inviting us along to entertain their guests. They couldn’t have picked a nicer area, as the scenery is just stunning. Indeed, Janet said that the nearby town of Ardara is her favourite place in the world! :) She’s lives in Glasgow now (as that’s where Chris is from), so it was nice for them to come back here to get married…

We were back in the stunning Lough Eske Castle in Donegal last night at Naomh and Willy’s wedding. It’s a beautiful venue, and it’s always a pleasure to play there, so thanks to Naomh and Willy for inviting us along! The castle is stunning inside and out, so the wet weather didn’t matter so much, as the room was looking great, and the panoramic views of the grounds fantastic! We were playing in the stunning Lough Rynn Castle, near Mohill in County Leitrim on Saturday night. It’s was Dearbhla and Ruairi’s wedding, so thanks to both of them for inviting us along. We arrived to see a massive crowd in the function room, which was looking amazing, and laid out perfectly to suit the 300 plus crowd! The function room is a complete contrast to the beautiful castle, as it is a beautiful contemporary design, which is sure to look great for any wedding reception…

We played at our last wedding of the year last night! We were back in the beautiful Slieve Russell Hotel in County Cavan, which is always a lovely place to play in. It was Josephine and Brian’s wedding, so thanks to both of them for inviting us along. The hotel was looking great, and the staff were really friendly as usual – it’s definitely one of the friendliest venues that we play in! They also leave loads of buffet food on the stage for us, so extra brownie points for that! lol…
