We officially had our oldest ever dancer on Saturday night! We had a few ideas for this blog title, but when we saw this guy dancing we couldn’t have chosen any other title! The person in question was Kelly’s Grandad Jim Bob, and he was 100 on the 16th of June this year. That in itself is a remarkable achievement, but to see him out dancing was amazing: and also very inspiring! So, congrats Jim Bob, here’s to many more years…

We played our third and final wedding of last week in the Lodge Hotel, Coleraine on Saturday night. We played at our fifth and final wedding of the week on Saturday night, and rounded things off in one of our favourite wedding venues – the stunning Roe Park Resort in Limavady! We were lucky enough to end the week with another lovely couple, so thanks to Katherine and Ryan for inviting us along to play a few songs. We played at our fourth wedding of the week last night, and thanks to Tryphiena and Kevin for inviting us along to be part of the celebrations. We were in the White Horse Hotel Derry, which was a blast from the past, as we haven’t played there in years! However, the place was looking great, and we ran into a familiar face! Kimberly, the duty manager, used to work in the Hillgrove Hotel in Monaghan. We’ve played in the Hillgrove quite a few times over the years, and Kimberly was always in great form, and running the weddings bang on schedule…
