Caoimhe & Mickey’s Wedding

A belated Merry Christmas everyone! As we’re so organised, we forgot to wish you all a Merry Christmas before the big day! Oops! We had a lovely few days off, but were back out on the road again last night at Caoimhe and Mickey’s wedding – thanks to both of them for inviting us along! :) They had also invited nearly 300 guests! Kelly & Aidan’s Wedding

We officially had our oldest ever dancer on Saturday night! We had a few ideas for this blog title, but when we saw this guy dancing we couldn’t have chosen any other title! The person in question was Kelly’s Grandad Jim Bob, and he was 100 on the 16th of June this year. That in itself is a remarkable achievement, but to see him out dancing was amazing: and also very inspiring! So, congrats Jim Bob, here’s to many more years…

Charlotte & Steven’s Wedding

We were on the road again last night, and back in one of our favourite wedding venues – the fantastic Roe Park Resort! Thanks to Charlotte and Steven for inviting us along to play a few tunes for them and their guests. The Roe Park has refurbished their function room since we were last there, and it’s looking better than ever! As part of the refurb, they have brought the room into the bar, which is a great improvement: no more losing people to the bar outside the room…

We played at our fifth and final wedding of the week on Saturday night, and rounded things off in one of our favourite wedding venues – the stunning Roe Park Resort in Limavady! Tryphiena & Kevin’s Wedding

We played at our fourth wedding of the week last night, and thanks to Tryphiena and Kevin for inviting us along to be part of the celebrations. We were in the White Horse Hotel Derry, which was a blast from the past, as we haven’t played there in years! However, the place was looking great, and we ran into a familiar face! Kimberly, the duty manager, used to work in the Hillgrove Hotel in Monaghan. We’ve played in the Hillgrove quite a few times over the years, and Kimberly was always in great form, and running the weddings bang on schedule…

We had a couple of days off after Halloween, but were back at it again last night at Leann and Jon’s wedding in the stunning Roe Park Resort in Limavady – thanks to both of them for inviting us along. It’s always great to play in, and Brian and the staff know how to perfectly lay out a room to suit the size of the crowd, which makes a massive difference to the atmosphere and ultimately the dance floor…

Kelly & Martin’s Wedding

We were back in the beautiful An Grianan Hotel at Kelly and Martin’s wedding last night – cheers guys, thanks for inviting us along. We always comment on it, but An Grianan is one of our favourite venues, and in our opinion the best wedding venue in Donegal that we’ve played in! We love the stunning circular room – it’s absolutely beautiful, adds a great atmosphere and has great acoustics too! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a wedding venue in the Donegal or Derry area…
