We finished our week in the beautiful An Creagan, which is located about half way between Cookstown and Omagh – thanks to Celia and Gabriel for inviting us along to play a few tunes at their wedding reception. We’ve never had an enquiry from anyone about having their wedding in An Creagan before, and found out why when we arrived. It was their very first wedding! Wow – it’s pretty cool that we got to play at their first ever wedding! :) You may think that things may not have run as smoothly in comparison to an established wedding venue, well you would be wrong! Sinead is the duty manager, and we know her from her time in Corick House and The Manor House, so she knows how to run a wedding reception! The building is beautiful, and has lovely curved walls which add real quirky charm and character. Add in that it’s situated on a beautiful site with loads of scenery, and you’ll find this really is a bit of a hidden gem…
