Phone friendly website coming soon! Our website is well overdue a revamp, so that’s what we’re working on at the moment! I haven’t carried out a full design on it since 2015, and (while it was designed responsive) it wasn’t built for viewing on a phone. Nowadays so many people view websites only on their phones, and I noticed that ours …

Happy New Year! Our blog has been quiet the past couple of years to say the least, however we’ll definitely get back on track next year! :) We’ll not bore you with the details, but even thought we slowly got back to work as Covid restrictions gradually lifted, we took a step back from all of our online activity since the …

We finally got back to work in July, after being off the road for nearly a year and a half! We apologise for being so quiet online, but unlike a lot of our colleagues, we never embraced online live performances, or even a continual social media presence during the Covid hiatus. Apologies for going radio silent…

Brogan & Conor’s Wedding
We were back on the road again on Saturday night: so thanks to Brogan and Conor for inviting us along to play at their wedding reception. With all the uncertainty about the Corona virus, it’s a worrying time for all of us; which brings a lot of worries for upcoming weddings. Thankfully Brogan and Conor weren’t going to let the virus spoil their day, and the show definitely went on…

Anna & Paddy’s Wedding
Back on the road last night for the first time in nearly five weeks! That’s longest that we’ve ever went without playing since we started the band! One of Anna and Paddy’s wedding guests inspired this blog title, as he asked us to play Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up! We’re not sure if we’ve ever played it in the disco before, and if we have it’s been a long time! So, as it was a bit unusual for us, we thought that would sort the blog title! (apologies for the crap header pic, we couldn’t find anything else!…

Grainne & Sean’s Wedding
We were back on the road for the first time in three weeks last night, and it felt like three months! January must be getting to us, as we couldn’t think of one of our usual weird blog titles! lol So, we had to just go with a predictable one for a change…

Caoimhe & Mickey’s Wedding
A belated Merry Christmas everyone! As we’re so organised, we forgot to wish you all a Merry Christmas before the big day! Oops! We had a lovely few days off, but were back out on the road again last night at Caoimhe and Mickey’s wedding – thanks to both of them for inviting us along! :) They had also invited nearly 300 guests! (including evening guests) As far as we’re aware, that was the venue at full capacity: so it definitely was a squeeze getting everyone in…

We played our last Christmas party of the year for the fantastic Corick House Hotel and Spa on Saturday night. Caroline & Mark’s Wedding
We were back on the road again last night for our last wedding before Christmas – thanks to Caroline and Mark for inviting us along to play a few tunes at their wedding reception. They’ve a great honeymoon planned, including a trip to Canada: and that’s what inspired this blog title! We’re not sure if they’re going to the French speaking parts, but Tout Juste Marié means Getting Married in French…

Ashlene & Brian’s Wedding
We finished our week in County Cavan on Saturday night, and our way down there was a massive and really bright moon in the sky! So, as our blog titles are always really weird, we couldn’t resist going with a really cheesy one this time! Please forgive us…

We were back in the brilliant Roe Park Resort Limavady last night for another Christmas party. We love playing at Christmas parties, and have really enjoyed looking after them for the Roe Park over the past five years – it’s just a shame there’s no more this year, as we were only free for one or theirs due to other commitments. Thanks again to the venue for having us in yet again – hopefully they will have us back in 2020! It’s not all bad though, we’ve another Christmas party in a different venue next Saturday…

We played our first Christmas party this year in the wonderful Hillgrove Hotel in Monaghan on Saturday night. It’s the first time that the venue has booked us to play at one of their Christmas parties, so thanks to them for giving us the chance to entertain their party guests! :)
The place was looking very festive, and amazingly was laid out to comfortably accommodate the 340+ crowd without everyone squashed together! No mean feat! Also, everything was running like clockwork – we were scheduled to start at 10, and all the tables were served and finished at 9:45…

Julie Ann & Mark’s Wedding
We kicked our week off last night at Julie Ann and Mark’s wedding. Our blog titles and pics are normally a bit weird, so that’s nothing new! However, their choice of dessert inspired this post title! They had chosen brandy baskets, which we haven’t seen in a long time, so we thought that would sort the blog title. They were being sent to the tables just as we were loading in, and they looked tasty…

After a week off, we were back on the road last night, and on the Fermanagh roads again. Our unusual blog title comes courtesy of the fantastic hypnotist Adrian Knight, who was entertaining the crowd before we started. He had asked his ‘victims’ to perform many funny tasks, and one of them was to dance like Chimpazees and Orangutans! That caught our ear, and besides being really funny to watch, sorted our usual unusual blog title! lol…

We spent our Friday night in Ballymena at Shauna and Robert’s wedding reception. It was actually Robert who inspired this blog title! We were chatting to him again during the buffet, and asked was everything ok for him? He replied “Yeah, everything is great. Do you know Larry?” Of course we didn’t know Larry, and were caught hook, line and sinker! lol We replied “No, we don’t know Larry”, to which Robert replied “Well, I’m as happy as Larry!” lol We thought it was really funny, and it also gave us an excuse to use a funny dog pic for our header…
