We were on the road again last night for our first Sunday wedding of the year!  It also was our last wedding of the year too!  We’re back out again in The Royal Hotel in Cookstown for their end of year party, but as it was our last wedding, we thought we’d go for a predictable title for a change!

Lindsey and Wayne had picked the fantastic Hillgrove Hotel for their wedding, and it was looking great as always.  Thanks to Lindsey and Wayne for inviting us along to be a small part of their wedding! :) We’re actually part of the Hillgrove’s wedding package: so we’d also like to thank the hotel for adding us into that!

We didn’t actually start the night for a change!  Lindsey’s friend Denise sang the first two songs, and sounded amazing!  We had a song for Wayne and his Mum after that, and then sped things up with a song for the bridal party.  We got through quite a range of tunes, and and the dance floor was a bit up and down.  However, once we played Free’s Alright Now, the floor filled!  We didn’t complain, as it’s one of our favourite songs to play!  We got through everything from AC/DC to Dance Monkey after that, and then finished with a few Rod Stewart songs for Lindsey to end the night!

Thanks again to Lindsey and Wayne for booking us to play at their wedding.  It was great to meet them both: it was our first all Dublin wedding, so it was great to meet all the Dubs too!  We’ll sign off by wishing them well on their honeymoon next month.  They’re going to Puerto Rico in the Canary Islands, which Wayne assures us is spectacular, as they met there, and have been many times since!  Have a great time guys!
