We played our last Christmas party of the year for the fantastic Corick House Hotel and Spa on Saturday night.  It’s the first year that the venue has booked us to look after one of their Christmas parties, so thanks to the management for inviting us along to entertain their guests! :) It was actually our last gig before Christmas too!

We were booked to play for two hours, and then DJ for another hour too.  A lot of guests left and went to the front bar after their meal was finished, but before we started.  So, we didn’t have a full crowd when we kicked off, as they hadn’t returned, which was a bit annoying.  However, the ones that were there were up for the craic, and surprisingly were looking for jiving!  So, it started off a bit like a wedding! lol

However, once the crowd came back in from the bar, then the party really started!  Things definitely went up several notches, and jiving was no longer on the cards!  We played everything from Belter to Black Betty, and everything went down a storm.  The disco went down even better, with all the usual dance tunes working their magic!

Thanks again to Corick House for booking us, it was great to be there!  We’d also like to wish all of the staff and management a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.  Finally, we’d like to sign off our last pre-Christmas post by wishing all our customers past, present and future a very Merry Christmas, and here’s to a brilliant 2020 for us all! :)
