Caroline & Mark’s Wedding
We were back on the road again last night for our last wedding before Christmas – thanks to Caroline and Mark for inviting us along to play a few tunes at their wedding reception. They’ve a great honeymoon planned, including a trip to Canada: and that’s what inspired this blog title! We’re not sure if they’re going to the French speaking parts, but Tout Juste Marié means Getting Married in French!
Our good friend Francy from Byrne Video Productions was looking after the video duties for the day. Always there to help us in with our gear, he’ll not be stuck for a job if he wants a change from the video work – he can be our roadie! lol Seriously though, he was doing his usual great job, and full of the craic as always. We always highly recommend him, so if you’re looking for someone to video your wedding, then check out his website – byrnevideoproductions.com
Caroline and Mark had picked the stunning Tullyglass Hotel in Ballymena for the wedding venue. We were in the Corinthian Suite, which was looking fantastic as usual, plus it was packed to capacity! That didn’t matter thought, the place looked great, and the Tullyglass staff were running on time as normal!
Caroline and Mark had chosen Ed Sheeran’s Perfect for their first dance. So we played our version of it, and invited the bridal party on half way through to join them. We opened the floor after that, and got through everything from the Galway Girl to a couple of Christmas songs. There were a few dance requests in the disco, so of course Maniac 2000 was on the list, so we put that on along with a few other club classics! We changed it up every so often, and kept the floor buzzing when we hit the stage again at the end of the night! :)
Thanks again to Caroline and Mark for booking us to play at their wedding. It was great to be there, and lovely to meet them both. As mentioned above, they’re going to Canada on honeymoon. However, they’re also going to Mexico too! Sounds like an amazing honeymoon, have a great time guys!
