Sinead & Lee’s Wedding

After a week off, we were back on the road last night, and on the Fermanagh roads again.  Our unusual blog title comes courtesy of the fantastic hypnotist Adrian Knight, who was entertaining the crowd before we started.  He had asked his ‘victims’ to perform many funny tasks, and one of them was to dance like Chimpazees and Orangutans!  That caught our ear, and besides being really funny to watch, sorted our usual unusual blog title! lol

As you probably guessed from the screenshot above, Sinead and Lee had picked the fantastic Lusty Beg Island for their wedding reception.  Regardless of how many times we’ve made the short journey over to the island on their boat, it’s always cool! lol  The venue was looking great as usual, and the room was dressed to perfection for the crowd in attendance! :)

We kicked things off with Rascal Flatt’s beautiful ‘Bless the Broken Road’ for Sinead and Lee’s first dance, and got the bridal party to join them half way through.  We followed that with our version of Heartland’s ‘I Love Her First’ for Sinead and her brother Daryl.  We opened the floor for the third, and started with a few jives at Sinead’s request.  We quickly got a great bunch of dancers, and kept them for a while, until the either they got tired or the bar called louder! lol  We changed tactics after that, and had our dancers up and down all night from everything from Blue Suede Shoes to Maniac 2000!

Thanks again to Sinead and Lee for booking us to play at their wedding.  It was great to meet them both, and they were delighted with the great weather that they had for their photos!  We’ll sign off by wishing them on their honeymoon travels.  They’re going to Galway for a few days, and then somewhere more exotic next year!  Have a great time guys!
