Saturday night’s crowd inspired this blog title and pic.  We always scan the room (and dance floor obviously!) when we’re playing, just to see how the crowd are reacting to our song choices. Two 0r three songs in, and we looked to our left and a saw everyone at one of the tables dancing on their seats!  We see that sometimes towards the end of the night, but never two or three songs in! lol

Like our wedding couple (Rachel and Adam) the previous week, Rebecca and Kieran had chosen the fantastic Corick House Hotel and Spa as their wedding venue.  It’s such a busy wedding venue, and has become a home from home for us, as we play in there so often.  There’s not many venues where we’re guaranteed a cuppa every time we’re setting up, so we’ll give them extra bonus points for that! lol

We kicked things off with our unplugged version of Chasing Cars for Rebecca and Kieran’s first dance, and got the bridal party on to join them half way through.  We sped things up straight away, and two or three songs in the dance floor was full! :)  Rebecca and Kieran stayed on the floor for a few songs, so that definitely helped encourage more people to the floor.  All in all it was a great night, and we were able to play loads of variation as usual. We couldn’t have asked for better company to spend our Saturday evening with!

Thanks again to Rebecca and Kieran for booking us to play at their wedding.  It was great to meet them both, and lovely to hear that Rebecca thought we sounded great; as she had only watched our videos and never actually had seen us live!  Finally we’d like to wish them well on their honeymoon.  They’re going to Florida, which should be awesome – have a great time guys!
