Jacqueline & Calum’s Wedding
Jacqueline and Calum’s fantastic choice of first dance inspired this blog title! They picked the brilliant acoustic version of Guns n Roses’ Sweet Child O Mine that is performed by Slash and the amazing Myles Kennedy on vocals. What a great choice, and a great way to kick the night off!
Thanks to Jacqueline and Calum for inviting us along to share the evening part of the their wedding with them. They had chosen the stunning Lough Eske Castle, and it’s hard to get better that this place! The castle is magnificent, and the grounds are stunning. The staff had the function room dressed to perfection, and the guests were raving about the food – so, it sounds like the perfect choice to us!
As mentioned we kicked things off with Sweet Child, and then go the bridal party to join Jacqueline and Calum half way through. We then called Jacqueline’s Dad Kenny to the floor, and played our version of Wonderful Tonight for their father / daughter dance, and invited Calum and his Mum to join them half way through. We sped things up after that, and got through loads of requests throughout the night. Proud Mary was requested, and one of the guys did an amazing Tina Turner impression (sorry, to name and shame you Russell! lol). We even got to properly rock things up for Calum and his groomsman Stephen by playing Enter Sandman, which saw a few raised eyebrows! lol
Thanks again to Jacqueline and Calum for booking us to play at their wedding. It was great to spend the evening with them both and their guests. Finally, we’d like to wish them well on honeymoon. They’re going to New York which should be fantastic – have a great time guys!
