Caroline & Liam’s Wedding
We had a quieter week last week, as we only had one wedding, which was on Saturday evening. Our title was inspired by a power cut during our performance! So, more no voltage rather than high voltage! However, as we’re both big AC/DC fans, we couldn’t resist using the DC song title for our post title!
We were back in Corick House, so thanks to Caroline and Liam for inviting us along to play a few tunes for them! The place was looking great as usual, and Cheryl and the staff had everything running smoothly. We had a fantastic hypnotist on before us, and he had the crowd in stitches. A real lovely guy too, so we’d recommend checking out his facebook page if you ever need a hypnotist!
We kicked things off with Stand By Me for Caroline and Liam’s first dance. Definitely a cool choice of song – such a great melody too! We sped things up after that, and got some dancers, but not as many as we would have liked. Even Proud Mary didn’t work it’s usual magic! However, we continually ask for requests, and once somebody shouted Mr Brightside then that got the ball rolling! That got the craic started, and the place was buzzing for the rest of the night! 🙂
Thanks again to Caroline and Liam for booking us to play at their wedding. It was great to meet them, and see them enjoying their day. We’ll sign off by wishing them well on their honeymoon, which should be fantastic! They’re going to Miami, and then on to a Caribbean Cruise! Have a great time guys!
