Laura & Liam’s Wedding
Saturday night, and we were joined on stage by one of Laura and Liam’s guests. Sean had come over all the way from Australia, and wanted to sing Macy Gray’s I Try. He didn’t need to try too hard, as he did a great job, and had the crowd in the palm of his hand! Cheers Sean, that sorted our blog title for us!
We were back in the beautiful Tullyglass Hotel, and the refurbished Kensington Suite was looking fantastic! Thanks to Laura and Liam for inviting us along to help them celebrate their big day.
We kicked things off with our version of Elvis’ Can’t Help Falling In Love. It was only our second time playing it, and our first time playing it as a first dance: what a lovely song! We sped things up after that with Rockin All Over the World for the bridal party: which is definitely a bit cooler than the average bridal party song! It took a short while to get the crowd warmed up, and we tried a few different things until we got the floor buzzing. All the usual sing along classics went down a storm, and the club classics were the highlight of the disco!
Thanks again to Laura and Liam for booking us to play at their wedding, it was great to meet them both. They’ve a week to get back to normal, and then are going on honeymoon next week. They’re off to Vegas and then Florida, which should be amazing! Have a great time guys!
