Sharon & Caolan’s Wedding

We started the Christmas Season up in Letterkenny on Saturday night.  Sharon and Caolan invited us along to the Mount Errigal Hotel to play a few tunes at their wedding reception.  The Mount Errigal staff had the place looking very festive, exactly what any couple wants this time of year! 🙂

A more obvious blog title than usual!  However, it was our first wedding of the Christmas season, plus Sharon had asked us to play some Christmas songs!  So of course we did, for the first time this year!

We kicked things off with Picture This’ Take My Hand for Sharon and Caolan’s first dance.  They kept the floor to themselves, and then we invited the bridal party to join them for the second song – which was Shut Up and Dance!  Definitely a lively way to get the bridal party involved, so we kept it upbeat and opened the floor to Paradise, which got loads of dancers!  We got through everything from Daniel O’Donnell, to David Guetta, to Guns N Roses throughout the night.  As usual, we just played anything that they were going to dance to!

Thanks again to Sharon and Caolan for booking us to play at their wedding reception.  It was great to meet them both, and hear all about their big day.  We’ll sign off by wishing them well on their honeymoon.  They’re going to New York and Mexico, which should be fantastic – have a great time guys!
