We were back on the road again last night, so thanks to Danielle and Lee for inviting us along to play at their wedding reception.  In fairness we weren’t on the road long, as we were playing in the wonderful Greenvale Hotel, which is only up the road from us!  In our opinion it’s Cookstown’s finest wedding venue, and a bit of hidden gem amongst all the Tyrone wedding venues – it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re planning a wedding reception in the Mid Ulster area!

So, what’s this blog title about then?  Danielle and Lee inspired it, as they picked Shania Twain’s From This Moment for their first dance song.  However, that’s not why we picked it as our blog title!  They had asked us to invite their two daughters Carly and Kyana to join them half way through the song, and it was just a lovely photo opportunity for their guests, so that was our title sorted!

We also got the bridal party to join them soon after the girls went to the dance floor, and then speeding things up after that.  It was quite a young crowd, so we started with a few modern songs, and got loads of dancers!  We lost them after a while, but then we had a couple of requests for jives, which got the floor buzzing again.  The disco went great, and as usual the dance classics went down a treat!  The crowd stayed there when we hit the stage again at the end of the night, right up until our encore of Mr Brightside!

Thanks again to Danielle and Lee for booking us to play at their wedding reception.  It was great to meet them both, and their two beautiful daughters Carly and Kyana.  We were chatting to Lee at the end of the night, but forgot to ask him where they were going on honeymoon!  Hopefully you get away somewhere nice guys!
