Laura & Gary’s Wedding

We finished our week back in the beautiful Manor House County Hotel in Killadeas on Saturday night.  It was Laura and Gary’s wedding reception, so thanks to both of them for inviting us along to join in the craic!  The Manor was looking great as always, and we’re still getting used to (and loving!) their recent makeover!

Our never ending run of weird blog titles continues!  We were stumped for a while, but then inspiration hit during the disco.  Our dancers (the ladies in particular!) were loving all the cheesy sing-along tunes, so we kept them going!  Plenty of cheese indeed!  Even our title is cheesy! lol

We kicked things off with Bless The Broken Road for Laura and Gary’s first dance, and then got the bridal party to join them halfway through.  We sped things up after that, and got the crowd going, although it was many the ladies dancing in the early part of the night!  We were really surprised to fill the dance floor when we played a few tunes just before the buffet!  As mentioned above, we got plenty of cheese on for the ladies during the disco.  Thankfully we got things revved up even more when we hit the stage again at the end of night, with our finisher (Don’t Look Back in Anger) being one of the most popular tunes of the night!

Thanks again to Laura and Gary for booking us to play at their wedding – it was great to meet them both.  They’re going all out for their honeymoon, which just sounds like a dream holiday!  They’re starting by going to Sri Lanka, and are moving on to the stunning Maldives to chill out.  Then, to top things off, they’re stopping in Dubai for a few days on the way home!  That’s how to do it, have a great time guys!
