We finished our week in the fantastic Greenvale Hotel on Saturday evening – we hadn’t been there in ages until recently, and that was our second time in two weeks!  Thanks to Leanne and Frankie for inviting us along to play a few tunes at their big day!  The Greenvale is well known for it’s quality of service and punctuality, and Saturday was no exception!  The stage and dance floor were just being cleared as we arrived!

So, quite an obvious blog title this time!  Leanne and Frankie had booked a DJ, so were only playing until the buffet.  As the Greenvale is only a few miles from our houses, we were home a lot earlier than normal, and even had time for a cuppa when we got back!

We kicked things off with Feels Like Home for Leanne and Frankie’s first dance, and then played Found A Heart by Emily Hearn for the bridal party dance.  We sped things up after that, and started with Castle on the Hill as a special request for their daughter Caitlin.  We got through loads of stuff over the next 90 minutes or so, everything from Proud Mary Mary to the Stones, and then finished things off just before the buffet with a massive crowd on the floor before we handed the reigns over to DJ Marty!

Thanks again to Leanne and Frankie for booking us to play at their wedding.  It was great to be part of their big day, and nice to see so many familiar faces!  Finally, we’d like to sign off by wishing Leanne and Frankie well on their honeymoon travels.  They’re going to Galway for a few days, and considering the forecasted hot weather, it should be brilliant!  Have a great time guys!
