Sharon & Mark’s Wedding

So, we were back yet again in our home from home (Corick House!) last night!  It was exactly a week since we were last there, so thanks to Sharon and Mark for getting us back so quick! 🙂  We don’t need to say much about Corick, it’s a great venue, and everything was running perfectly on schedule as expected!

Our blog titles and pics definitely are getting weirder! lol  We were stumped for a title last night until the groomsman Paul came up and asked for a request!  He asked us to play Blondie’s Maria, which actually went down a storm.  However, it put us in mind of the Clint Eastwood film The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, which has the famous quote in it – hey blondie!  Yes, that is quite a stretch from a song request, but we’ve done so many of these weird blog titles that we now need to keep it going! lol

We kicked things off with our version of Lonestar’s Amazed for Sharon and Mark’s first dance, and then followed that up with our version of Kodaline’s The One for the bridal party and everyone else.  Sharon had mentioned that a lot of family liked to jive, so we sped things up with a few jives, which got loads of dancers on the floor! 🙂  It wasn’t jiving all night though, and the crowd were great, as they danced to everything!  The only problem we had was getting stopped at the end of the night! lol

Thanks again to Sharon and Mark for booking us to play at their wedding!  It was great to meet them both, and be able to help end their day on a high for them!  Finally, we’d like to wish them well on their honeymoon travels later in the year.  They’re going to the amazing Cancun, which should be fantastic!  Have a great time guys!
