Nicola & Sean’s Wedding

We had a bit of deja-vu on Saturday, as we were back in Corick House for the second night in a row!  Thanks to Nicola and Sean for inviting us along t0 play a few tunes.  There was a massive crowd in, and the Corick staff had the room laid out perfectly, and the place was looking great!

This blog title comes courtesy of Nicola!  We were chatting to her before we started, and finding out how her big day had been going.  Then she told us that she worked in a 999 call centre!  That’s definitely one of the more unusual jobs that one of our brides has had!  So, cheers Nicola, that was our blog title sorted! 🙂

We started things off with Picture This’ Addicted To You for Nicola and Sean’s first dance, and the bridal party quickly joined them.  It was a pretty young crowd, so we came in with Shut Up and Dance, which instantly filled the massive dance floor.  Literally that was job done, because the floor never emptied until we stopped for the buffet!  We don’t like to stop when people are dancing, so we were knackered when the buffet came out! lol  However, we’ll not complain, as it was great to see such an amazing crowd.  They kept going all night too, and the place was still buzzing when we played our last song.  What a brilliant crowd!  We had to play an encore (which we weren’t complaining about!), but were surprised when the crowd shouted for Rock The Boat – hence the photo below!

Thanks again to Nicola and Sean for booking us to play at their wedding.  It was great to meet them both, and hear some of the stories from Nicola about working in a 999 call centre!  Finally, we’d like to wish them well on their honeymoon.  They’re going to Vegas, and then are finishing things off in New York.  Should be amazing, have a great time guys!
