Noelle & Denver’s Wedding

We were back in Corick House again last night at Noelle and Denver’s wedding – thanks to both of them for inviting us along!  They had their reception in the stunning Orchid Suite, and the staff left the partition up, which was a great call!  It suited the size of the crowd much better, and the room looked much cosier!

We always strive to think of weird and wonderful (well, probably not wonderful! lol) blog titles, and it gets harder every week to think up of new ones!  However, Corick House inspired this title, as we are playing back in there tonight!  So, it’s unusual to play in the same venue two nights running for two different weddings, so take one last night, take two tonight!

We kicked things off with our version of Ed Sheeran’s Perfect for Noelle and Denver’s first dance.  We started off, as requested, with a few jives, and a good few people joined the bridal party on the floor.  However, we stopped after half a dozen songs or so to ask for requests, and AC/DC was shouted out by quite a few people!  We played Shook Me All Night Long, and that brought a great crowd to the floor!  It wasn’t rock all night, but there was a great range of tunes, and the crowd just got livelier as the night went on, which is definitely no bad thing!

Thanks again to Noelle and Denver for booking us to play at their wedding.  It was great to meet them, and have a chat about their day – and finding out Noelle was up from 5:30am!  We’ll sign off by wishing them well on their honeymoon travels.  They’re going down South for a few days and staying in the wonderful Farnham Estate, and then going somewhere a bit further away in the summer.  We’re not sure if they’ll go as far down as Skellig Michael, but we would to visit the island!  Have a great time wherever you go guys!
